This service is ideal for dogs who don’t tolerate traditional brushing or who need extra support maintaining their dental routine.

How does Emmi-Pet work?
Emmi-Pet is designed differently to a standard toothbrush. It does not scrub or vibrate. Instead it uses ultrasonic waves to help break down plaque and bacteria in the mouth.

Most dogs accept the process well once gently introduced. A special toothpaste is applied and the brush head is held against each tooth. The ultrasonic waves work while the brush remains still helping to break down plaque and bacteria. Over multiple sessions, plaque can soften and loose surface tartar may gradually reduce improving the appearance of the teeth and helping to reduce odour.

Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a cosmetic dental service. It does not remove hardened tartar below the gum line, diagnose dental problems or replace veterinary dental treatment. I recommend having your dog’s teeth professionally checked by a vet on a regular basis. This service works in a similar way to a dental hygienist appointment and is intended for ongoing maintenance rather than a one off treatment. Results are gradual and most improvements are seen over a series of regular sessions not immediately after the first appointment. Appointments typically last around 20–30 minutes depending on your dog’s cooperation and individual needs.

Initial Session – £35
Includes your dog’s own personal brush head.
 
Maintenance (with a groom) – £20
Maintenance (stand alone) – £25
 
If your dog becomes too stressed or is found unsuitable after beginning the session:
Intro only (brush head opened) – £15
Covers time and the cost of the personal brush head.
 
Your dog’s comfort always comes first. If they are not comfortable or suited to treatment the session will be stopped.
As each dog has their own brush head, a small fee applies if one has been opened.
